In collaboration with the Women and Gender Studies Interdisciplinary Unit a special screening of The Archivettes (Megan Rossman, 2019) will be shown followed by an online discussion with Lesbian Herstory Archive co-founders Joan Nestle and Deborah Edel and filmmaker Megan Rossman. Founded in the 1970s in a New York City apartment, The Lesbian Herstory Archives is now the world's largest collection of materials by and about lesbians. For more than 40 years, the all-volunteer organization has striven to combat lesbian invisibility by literally rescuing history from the trash. All programs are free and open to the public but you must register to participate. Watch for link in future.

This semester of Beyond Boundaries was curated by Ruth Goldman, Meg Knowles and Crystal Rodriguez with assistance from Kaitlyn Keane and is co-sponsored by the Office of Equity and Campus Diversity, the Communication Department and the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
